Make these easy baked buffalo chicken sliders for your next gathering. They feature juicy shredded chicken tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, topped with melted cheese, and baked on soft Hawaiian rolls. This recipe is perfect for game day or a simple weeknight dinner.

  • 1 (12 count) package slider buns (Hawaiian rolls recommended)
  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms in one piece if possible. Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chicken mixture. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder to create the topping sauce.
  7. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the slider buns.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes before slicing between the rolls to serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use rotisserie chicken for quick preparation.
  • If you prefer a tangier flavor, substitute blue cheese dressing for the ranch dressing.
  • These sliders are excellent served with celery sticks or carrot sticks on the side.
