Make this refreshing, bubbly Champagne Punch featuring fresh strawberries. It is simple to prepare and serves a crowd, making it perfect for holidays, brunches, or parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) chilled Champagne or dry sparkling wine
  • 1 cup strawberry puree (from fresh or frozen strawberries)
  • 1 cup chilled white grape juice or pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sliced fresh oranges or lemons
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 liter chilled lemon-lime soda or ginger ale
  • Ice ring or ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Slice the strawberries and oranges/lemons. If using fresh strawberries for the puree, blend them until smooth.
  2. In a large punch bowl, combine the chilled Champagne, strawberry puree, white grape juice, and simple syrup (if using). Stir gently to mix the liquids.
  3. Add the sliced fruit to the punch bowl. If making ahead, cover and chill the mixture now, omitting the soda.
  4. Just before serving, slowly pour in the chilled lemon-lime soda or ginger ale. Stir very carefully to keep the punch bubbly.
  5. Add a large ice ring or ice cubes to the punch bowl to keep the punch cold without diluting it quickly.
  6. Serve immediately in glasses, ensuring each serving gets some fruit.

Notes

  • For an easy make ahead option, mix all ingredients except the sparkling wine and soda up to 4 hours in advance. Keep chilled. Add the soda and Champagne right before guests arrive.
  • To make this a Vodka Champagne Punch, add 1 cup of chilled vodka when mixing the juices and puree.
  • If you need a non-alcoholic option, substitute the Champagne with sparkling white grape juice or club soda.
